What’s in my Makeup Bag?

Well I don’t know about you but I love a good snoop in other people’s make up bags so I thought I’d show you mine. You will probably have seen me review quite a few of these products as I only review stuff I know and love. This is the bag that I cart around with me with my very basics!

ELF Make Up Bag

This little bag is a grand size for carting to work. I try not to over stuff it as it can get a bit heavy. It comes with a magnetic brush roll that you can wrap around the outside. I only really use that part when I’m going away but it’s a nice feature. You can pick this up from the ELF website.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Light

With the hot weather recently my BB creams and other foundation choices haven’t been lasting too long. I dragged this out of my foundation collection and started using it again. This baby goes nowhere and it doesn’t look too heavy. My skin is too dry for this in winter though.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer

This stuff won’t budge and covers my rosacea, veins and any other blemishes that might crop up.

MAC Mineralise Skin Finish Powder

When I’m doing my makeup at home I always use a loose powder but I always have this with me when I’m on the go. It’s quite a heavy powder and keeps make up in place for the day.

Sleek Face Form

I mainly cart this around for the mirror as it’s absolutely massive. But it’s also a handy one to have for a bit of contouring if I’m feeling fancy! You can read my full review here.

Benefit Cha Cha Tint

I love this little pot. I got it as part of a Benefit set and it’s the biz. You have to work quite quickly with this to prevent funny shapes on the cheeks but it’s worth it for the finish. It will give you a lovely coral glow that will stay in place all day. I often top it up with blusher for an extra flush.

Benefit Big Beautiful Eyes Palette

I don’t always wear eye makeup but this is my go to for quick fix eyes. The little brush is quite nifty and I can do eyebrows, shadow and liner all with this little set. You can read my full review here.

I won’t even bore you with all the lip products as they change with the wind I have so many. At the moment there’s a minty Carmex, my little NYC Apple Gloss I reviewed here and a Chanel gloss I’ve been buying for years.

So that’s my day to day makeup at the moment, spot anything you love?

Is that a blusher brush in the picture and if so which one? Also do you find the benefit tint takes off your foundation or am I rubbing it in too much?

Hi Michelle! The slanted white brush is a contour brush – MAC 168 but I find it great for blusher as well. The other brush is fab the expert face brush I use it for foundation. I know what you mean about the tint, I try to let foundation settle and apply it with a very light hand but it does move foundation a bit. x
