Wet n Wild made a splash (puntastic sorry!) when they landed in Ireland at the start of the year. They’re a budget brand that has been in the US for years but the beauty blogging world got very excited when their arrival here was imminent. It’s a range of good quality colourful cosmetics that don’t cost the earth. I recently went to an event hosted by them and was lucky to get this eye shadow palette as part of a goodie bag I got.
I was delighted to get this Walking on Eggshells set as I’d admired it before but was trying to be restrained in my purchases. The Wet n Wild shadows are so soft and the colours are well pigmented. I like that the set has the use for the shades emobossed into them, it’s a nice quirk.
This is a really handy neutral set to have in your everyday makeup bag. I have regularly repurchased the Benefit Big Beautiful eyes set as my go to handbag eyeshadow and I think this set might be its budget competitor. I can create a nice daytime eye with both in seconds and can use a bit of a heavier hand for night time.
This eye shadow set is also similar to the first three shades of the Naked palette. My sister will be absolutely thrilled as she is a big fan of Urban Decay Sin eye shadow but doesn’t always want to fork out for the individual shade and the one in her Naked palette is long gone. I think the lid shade in Walking on Eggshells is almost an exact dupe for Urban Decay Sin below.
This is a great everyday eye palette to have in your collection and it costs just €4.49, sure where would you be going?! Have you tried anything from Wet n Wild?
