My top 5 most read posts in 2014!

Top 5 Open

Well Happy New Year everyone, I hope you had a really great Christmas and that 2015 brings everything you hope for! I’m back from my little blogging break with lots of ideas for posts for 2015. First I’m going to take a look back at my blogging year by sharing my Top 5 most read posts in 2014, just in case you missed them!

Makeup Revolution Haul!

No 5. – Giant Makeup Revolution Haul

2014 was the year of Makeup Revolution for me. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a budget makeup brand that makes some really great quality products for some very affordable prices. In this post I shared my second Makeup Revolution haul. My favourite product from this haul is the Blush and Contour palette which I use almost everyday.

Makeup Revvolution Awesome Metals Eye Foil

No 4. – Makeup Revolution Awesome Metals Eye Foils

There are three Makeup Revolution posts in my top 5 and the second is my review of their Awesome Metals Eye Foils. I bought this product as I had wanted to try the Stila  Magnificent Metals Eye Foils for ages but the €47 price tag was a bit steep. This product is a pretty good dupe and is significantly cheaper at £4. Another win for Makeup Revolution.

EOS V Balmi Lip Balms

No 3. – Lip Balm Wars Eos V. Balmi Review

This post is actually from 2013 but is one of my most consistently read posts. It shows the interest in Eos lip balms hasn’t waned despite them being around for a good while now. I still love the EOS lip balms but my all time favourite lip balm has to be the NUXE Reve Du Miel lip balm.

New StorageNo 2. – Acrylic Makeup Storage at Homestore and More

It’s so funny that some of the posts you write off the cuff can be the most popular and ones you spend ages planning hardly get read! I quickly wrote this post after a shopping spree in Homestore and More for some makeup storage. This post got shared by somebody on so that regularly drives a lot of traffic to this post, so thanks for sharing internet friend!

makeup revolution haulNo 1. – Talkin Bout a Makeup Revolution!

This post is easily the most read one on the blog for 2014. I caught wind of Makeup Revolution quickly enough after it launched and decided to put in an order. I think because I was among some of the first reviewers of the brand in Ireland this post gets a lot of traffic. My favourite product from this haul was the Bang Bang Your Dead blusher. It’s like a cross between a blusher and a highlighter and I use it a few times a week.

So there you have it, the Top 5 most read posts on my blog in 2014. A big thank you to everyone who read the blog in 2014, you make all the effort worthwhile. I hope you enjoy the posts I have in store for you in 2015!

I really, really want that storage but I have nowhere to put it at the minute!! It’s on my to-buy list as soon as we get the babies out of our room and I can actually leave stuff within arms’ reach anymore! Great posts x

Thanks Sharon, I just saw on FB that the large storage unit is on sale in Homestore and More for €40, if you want to buy it for when the babies are out of mam and dad’s room!
