I haven’t updated you on my skincare routine in a while. I find the cold weather and all the central heating is wreaking havoc with my skin at the moment. It looks permanently parched and isn’t helping the look of my foundation. I’ve been bringing out my moisture big guns in an attempt to parch my thirsty skin.
I really like reading other bloggers monthly favourite posts so I thought I’d start my own. I think it’s a nice way to get a quick idea of peoples beauty habits and how they change with the seasons.
Well July will forever be remembered as the ‘Summer of 13’ when the weather in Ireland was completely scorchio and BBQ and alfresco drinking/dining – mainly drinking – became an everyday occurrence! Vichy Capital Soleil SPF50 Mattifying Face Fluid Review
Well as I’m writing the sun is finally shining in Dublin, woo hoo! All the sun gets me thinking about protecting my fair Irish cailin complexion. I’ve recently been having problems with pigmentation so I have made myself a very solemn promise to wear a high SPF every day without fail. I would always have a minimum of SPF20 on but this obviously isn’t cutting the mustard.
Before I went on hols last September I picked up this Vichy Capital Soleil SPF50 Mattifying Face Fluid. I normally would use the La Roche Posay range but I couldn’t see the light version in the pharmacy I was in. My one issue with SPFs is the oiliness factor and this seems to increase with the higher SPF, so I was excited about the mattifying claims of this product.
