Hopefully you had a chance to read my post on my favourite makeup products of 2013 here. At first I didn’t realise how budget friendly all my picks were but they were genuinely my favourites among many high end products. I’m not sure I’ll be able to say the same for my skincare picks here as I have quite expensive skincare tastes! But here are the products that really impressed me in 2013:
So I’m sure like many of you I often shower in a hurry but even if I’m in a mad rush I can’t bear to not moisturise my skin. I can count on my hands the number of times I’ve just showered and gotten dressed without moisturising. My skin just doesn’t feel right if I don’t moisturise after showering. But it can be a bit of a pain, especially when you have to get dressed straight away. The worst is the gym when I have to try and get tights on after moisturising, there’s a lot of jumping around involved then!
So there have been a few nifty innovations of late in the area of speedy moisturising! Anything that makes moisturising quicker and easier in my book is a good thing so I thought I’d give you a quick run through of the latest products:
Now, I’m not an eijit, I know a cream or lotion or potion is not going to get rid of cellulite. That involves a hard mix of diet, exercise and possibly prayers! But I do believe there are a few beauty products that can definitely help along the way. I’ll let you into my anti cellulite beauty routine.
I’ve been feeling far too spendy the last few weeks. Some of my friends are claiming I’ve only started this blog as an excuse to buy myself more stuff, how dare they! Seriously though I probably do need to reign it in a little. But before I do I thought I’d give you a quick peek of my recent haul.
For the first part of my haul I hit up a sale on the Illamasqua website. They were celebrating reaching a milestone on twitter by having a flash sale with 50% off everything, very exciting. I’d been meaning to try Illamasqua for so long, so this was the perfect opportunity. They’re so daring with their makeup and some of the photos they share on their Facebook page are just stunning.
