Another Christmassy Nail of the Week! I am gradually branching out with my nail art and trying to so something a bit more complex than dots. I thought how hard can a snowman be, turns out it’s not as straightforward as you might think. I painted the snowman on with the brush and added the details with the nail art pen. The orange polish is by NYC in Spring Street and the white China Glaze polish is Dandy Lyin Around (?). It’s definitely not perfect but it’s a start! What do you think?
All the December Nails of the Week will have a bit of a festive feel and you can’t beat classic reds for Christmas! For this look I used a combination of China Glaze Red Satin and OPIs Liquid Sand in Magazine Cover Mouse (as in Minnie Mouse, this makes me love it more!). I really didn’t think I would get along with the OPI Liquid Sand polishes but I actually think they’re lovely. They give such an unusual finish, they can really complement a regular polish. What do you think?
This weeks Nail of the Week is another from my Pro Beauty haul. It’s a nice bright pink from China Glaze called Fuschia. I’ve probably said this a million times but I love China Glaze polishes. I think they last a lot longer than other polishes. I jazzed this up with an accent nail and some dotty dots! The colour on the accent nail is Nails Inc Victoria. I used my Essence dotting tool for the dots. What do you think?
Well if you caught last weeks Nail of the Week here, you’ll know I went a bit mad at the Pro Beauty Show and bought a rake load of nail polishes. This was another one of my purchases. I’ve never really been a fan of the grey hues of polishes that are popular at the moment but this baby has changed my mind. I really love this colour! It took about three coats to get it fully opaque but I keep admiring it now I have it on. What do you think? China Glaze polishes usually cost about €7.50 and I think are great quality for the price.
I nearly missed Nail of the Week this week, oops! But don’t fear because this weeks one is a goodie! Now one of my big beauty confessions is that I do not own an Essie nail polish and up until very recently I didn’t own any China Glaze polishes – gasp!! But I got my first China Glaze recently and it’s so pretty it hurts my eyes! This lovely is China Glaze For Audrey as its dedicated to the one and only style icon Audrey Hepburn and her obsession with Tiffany and it’s beautiful blue colour boxes. I bought this for €7.50 from Beauty Emporium. Aggghhh it’s just so pretty, so apologies for the abundance of photos. What do you think?!
