Occasionally a product comes into my life that makes me wonder why I haven’t found it sooner! I read a few reviews of this recently but it was Pink Elephant Blogs comparison with YSL Touche Eclat that had me sold. My local chemist had a 25% off offer recently so it would have been foolish not to have picked this up!
I chose the shade Classic Beige as it’s close to my usual shade two of the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. The consistency of this concealer is thin but not watery. It gives more coverage than I expected for the consistency. It has a lovely cooling effect when you apply it and I find it feels really hydrating. It’s lovely to apply under the eyes first thing in the morning.
The concealer gives good coverage without feeling heavy. It also does have a brightening effect without looking too highlighter like. In the photos below I’ve applied the concealer to my left eye to show you the coverage – ignore my wrecked face am suffering from major sinus pain at the moment! Top tip – you’ll get a better coverage from concealer if you stripe it on like below as opposed to dotting it.
I can use the under my eyes but also to cover redness and other shadowy spots. I think this concealer is the perfect cross between the popular Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and the Iconic YSL Touche Eclat. It gives the coverage of the Collection concealer with some of the luminosity of Touch Eclat, it also has an added cooling and moisturising quality, LOVE it!
This is a really great concealer and it’s a bargain because it costs just €6.99. It’s really tempting me to try out the Wake Me Up foundation. Have you tried this concealer? If not I highly recommend it!
