I absolutely love the smell of the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse, I sometimes apply the oil just for the smell of it. So I was jumping for joy when I heard Nuxe were bringing out a perfume with the famous Prodigieuse scent. Despite being on a spending ban I recently decided I just had to have it and copped that I had a voucher so I hotfooted it down to Arnotts.
Yet again I long for the power of smell-ternet but the perfume is a gorgeous light citrusy flowery mix. Its top notes are mandarin, bergamot and orange blossom. There are also hints of rose, gardenia and magnolia which I always get about 20 minutes after applying. It just smells fresh, light and summery. My only very small issue with it is that I feel it fades a little too quickly and I just want the smell to stay with me forever! But it is a perfect Spring/Summer light scent and I know it is one I will repurchase.
Karolina at the Nuxe counter in Arnotts was just so helpful. She wasn’t pushy or invasive which is one of my pet peeves. She just told me there was an offer on that if you spend €50 you could get a free Nuxe facial in the beauty treatment room. So that sealed the deal and I splashed out the €48 on the perfume. As a bonus I got a generous 30ml mini of the Huile Prodigieuse with the perfume. The normal size Huile Prodigieuse is 50ml, so the sample is really on the generous side!
I booked in for my free facial with Karolina last Friday. She was really helpful and gave me some samples of the products she was going to use in advance so I could check to make sure they agreed with my skin. I was a bit stuck for time but she managed so squeeze in a fab 50 minute facial on my lunchbreak.
She mainly used the Nuxe Fraiche hydrating range on me as my skin is so dehydrated at the moment from air conditioning and is badly needing moisture. I could literally feel my skin drinking up the products. Her facial massage techniques were amazing, I was truly zoned out and couldn’t contemplate going back to work. All this and did I mention the facial was free! There was absolutely no obligation on me to purchase anything (as I had gotten the facial for purchasing something) but I really loved the feeling of the Fraiche serum and I felt it was something my skin badly needed so I bought it for €32.95. To top it all off Karolina gave me a free gift with my purchase of all of the items below in a dinky little Nuxe bag!
As someone who regularly buys beauty products I was really bowled over with the service I received from Karolina and the ladies at the Nuxe counter in Arnotts, they literally couldn’t do enough for me, without me feeling I had to buy all of the products. Unfortunately the free facial offer has ended but I’m sure they will do it again in the future and I will definitely let you know if they do. Meanwhile if you’re looking for advice on Nuxe products head to Arnotts and ask for Karolina, she knows her skincare.
