Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse is one of those hall of fame products that I had always been meaning to try but had never gotten around to buying. It was my birthday recently and my friend Niamh got me this as a pressie and I was da-lighta! It’s lovely to get something you’ve always been meaning to try. So I couldn’t wait to try it, here’s how I got on…

The first thing that strikes you about this is it’s just so fancy looking. It’s in a nice square glass bottle with gold top and it just screams luxury. The second thing that struck me about it was the amazing smell. I wish we had smell-ternet, I would send you the smell. The scent was really familiar to me and after a few days I copped what it was. I used to own the fab Elemis Exotic Frangipani Monoi Moisture Melt and this smells very similar.

The product is described as a multi-purpose dry oil. This is made up of six oils which are Borage, St. John’s Wort, Sweet Almond, Camellia, Hazelnut and Macadamia. It has added Vitamin E as well. I have tried it in my hair, on my body and my face. It did a great job on my hair with a tiny drop it was so soft. I was worried it would irritate the skin on my face but it didn’t at all, just a lovely softening effect. For my body I mixed a bit with my usual moisturiser and my skin felt so nourished after with a lovely sheen that’s great for a night out.

i think this is a great item to have on your dressing table and it has the bonus of looking fancy. You can buy this for €18.95. I have the shimmer Huile Prodigieuse Or version on my wishlist now. Have you tried it?
