Not too long back I did a dive into my product stash and came across this face oil from one of my British Beauty Blogger beauty boxes. I love a facial oil but have never tried anything from the Nude brand so thought if give it a whirl. Here’s how I got on with it.
My skin has been a bit tired and dry so I left it on my beside table as a little reminder to use it. I’ve been giving my face a good massage with it before I get into bed for about 4 weeks now. The oil contains about 10 different oils including four Omega 3 oils. Below is the ingredient list.
Nude Pro Genius Treatment Oil Ingredients: Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Camelina Sativa Seed Oil, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil, Nigella Sativa Seed Oil.
What I like about this oil is that it doesn’t have a strong scent. Sometimes me and oils don’t get along especially if there’s an essential oil in the mix but this goes on skin like a dream and doesn’t cause any irritation. This oil claims to promote youthful and luminous skin. I’ve been using this at night and have definitely been waking up to clearer more plump looking skin in the morning. I know you’re probably not supposed to use this around your eyes but I do and I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in the ‘fine lines’ around my eye area. I think this oil is a great pick for dull and dry skin, my skin definitely has a spring in its step since I started using this.
Now I got this 10ml sample in my latest British Beauty Blogger beauty box and it’s lasting a while but if you want to buy the real deal it costs €80 for 30ml (so this sample is worth €25!!). So this ain’t cheap but a little goes a long way so I imagine you could get at least 6 months out of the big bottle. Also during my research I was surprised to find out that this brand was co-founded by Ali Hewson – Bonos better half, so it has Irish roots as well!
