I’m having a serious blusher crush at the moment, I’ve been digging into my stash and trying out everything I own as well as buying new ones of course – although no more as I’m on my spending ban till June now! As part of my blusher addiction I recently bought the No7 Pop and Glow Cream Blush Stick as part of my latest Boots haul here.
I’m also in love with anything in pencil format at the moment, mainly through my love of lip gloss pencils. So these blushers caught my eye straight away. These are chunky cheek colour pencils that you can twist from the bottom to get more product. The formula is creamy but they go on more matte on the cheeks. I love the Bourjois cream blushes but I find them quite matte, this stick is a bit more creamy and goes on quite sheer.
The colour I chose is Mango Sorbet which is a lovely coral colour. The pigment is not overwhelming when you put it on but I find that’s good for building the colour intensity you would like. The colours wear well throughout the day but I did notice some fade towards the end of the day. I think as the formula is a little more creamy they’re more likely to sink in if you have dry skin.
I would recommend these blushers as a great pick for Summer. They’re super easy to apply, blend well and you can build the colour to the intensity you want. Just throw one in your bag and you have blusher on the go! The other shades available are Rose Blossom which looks to be an intense pink and Classic Rose which is a more delicate pink. These cost €12.25 and could be a good excuse for a 3 for 2
