New brand to me – Nocibé

New Brand to me Nocibé

I love discovering a new brand, it doesn’t happen as often as I’d like. Mam and Dad were over in France recently on their Harley nonetheless, they live the life of Reilly those two! As they were in France I sent them on a beauty mission, I had them hunting down the La Roche Posay Serozinc which they failed to locate :(. But mam knows the way to my heart and picked me up some makeup instead. She found this shop called Nocibé which apparently is the rival in France to the much loved Sephora. They do all the usual branded beauty products as well as their own Nocibé range.

Mam picked me up an eye shadow and two of the nail polishes from the Nocibé range. I’m usually a bit sceptical about store branded ranges and don’t expect them to be quality but I have to say I think the eye shadow is excellent. The packaging is sturdy but the usual black.  I love the pattern on the shadow, it’s a bit different. It’s a dark brown with a very slight hint of a shimmer. I fully expected this to be a bit glittery which I really don’t like, but it is perfect. I can see myself getting great wear out of this.

Mam also picked me up the two polishes because she tells me blue is all in for Autumn/Winter. I trust her as she reads about 5 bajillion magazines a month. One of the polishes is one of the magnetic ones which I’ve never actually tried,  so looking forward to that. The other is a lovely almost teal-y blue.

Have you heard of this brand before? If you have let me know if you have any products you’d recommend!

These look really interesting. I love the bag as well, I’m totally drawn in by things like that! French pharmacies have a few random little brands that are worth a try, but you’re right about there not being enough new discoveries to make around these parts!
