My First NYX Butter Glosses!

NYX butter glosses

Ah I know everybody has seen these a million times by now but I just wanted to share my thoughts. I had been trying to get to a NYX counter for ages as there wasn’t one near where I work or live but lately they’re being stocked in a few more places. They’re now in the Hickeys pharmacy on O’Connell Street which is really handy for me. And by the looks of things the counters are pretty popular because most I saw were out of or low on some products.

Luckily the stand I visited at the AllCare pharmacy at the top of Camden street was well stocked so I was very restrained and just picked up two of the Butter Glosses. After much deliberation I chose the shades Apple Strudle and Vanilla Cream Pie. You can see how these look below. Apple Strudle is a bright coral colour which I love and Vanilla Cream Pie is a more muted pink, the difference in the colours is a bit more obvious than they look in photos. I’m not miserable in the photos by the way, that’s just my Bitchy Resting Face (BRF) :-)

These go on so creamy and don’t feel sticky on the lips but feel very moisturising. They are a gloss so they don’t last ages but they’re really easy to apply and you wouldn’t mess it up without a mirror. So basically I’m late to joining the gang with the butter glosses but I’ll definitely be picking up more of these as they’re just €6.50. I’d also like to try some of the lip liners and blushers of course! What do you think? Are you a fan of the NYX?
