I bought the latest Look Fantastic beauty box because it contained three products I’ve always wanted to try but that are a little bit pricey to buy alone. The box here contained minis of the famous Glam Glow mask, Eve Lom Cleanser and this Hand Chemistry Intense Youth Complex hand cream. I’ve wanted to try this cream since I saw British Beauty Blogger herself rave about it.
The first thing that struck me when I opened the cream is the smell. It has quite a strong sweet smell that I really like but if you’re not a fan of heavily scented hand creams then this might not be the one for you. The cream contains 19% active ingredients which you can see below. There are lots of technical sciencey sounding names but the main ingredients are Maize Preopendial which keeps water in the skin, Pseudoaltromonas which helps skin texture and hydration and Sancha Inchi Oil.
The cream does feel really rich and I only use a small bit and mainly concentrate it on the back of my hands for maximum effect. The packaging claims you will see results after 10 days of use. I applied this at night time for a week and after seven days I really noticed a difference. My hands are naturally very dry so the backs of my hands usually have small dry lines running across them. This cream completely got rid of them and my hands definitely look glowy. I haven’t noticed any difference to firmness in the skin but maybe my hands are a bit young for that.
I highly recommend this cream if your hands are really dry or are starting to show their age a little. I got a generous 30ml sample size with the Look Fantastic box that is worth €8. The full size 100ml product costs €24. I think it’s definitely worth it from the effects I’ve seen. I’d really like to try some of the other Hand Chemistry products, particularly the Hyaluronic Concentrate for hands and body. Have you tried any Hand Chemistry products?
