First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads

FAB Facial Radiance Pads

The First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance pads get a lot of love from the blogging world so they caught my eye when I saw the Feel Unique Radiant Skin Box. I rarely let a scrub near my skin so I like to use acid based exfoliators which are a lot more gentle than they sound. I got a pot of 30 pads with the Feel Unique box so I gave them a test.

These pads promise to exfoliate, tone pores and brighten skin. The main exfoliating ingredients in these are lactic and glycolic acid. They also contain skin soothing ingredients such as Aloe Vera and Cucumber as well as moisturising glycerin. Below is the full list of ingredients, the ingredient list is very skin friendly.

Water/Eau, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Water, Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Leaf Extract, Chrysanthemum Parthenium (Feverfew) Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Extract, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Fruit Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Phyllanthus Emblica (Indian Gooseberry) Fruit Extract, Polysorbate 20

The pot I had contains 30 pre soaked pads. I don’t really like the pre-soaked pads as I feel like I’m wasting a lot of product. I would prefer to have the solution in a bottle and apply a bit myself, I think I”d get more than 30 pads out of it but maybe I’m just being fussy!

I use these straight after cleansing my skin before applying serum and moisturiser. In terms of the formula these are a little bit gentle for me. It has more of a toning effect on my skin as opposed to exfoliating. They are so gentle and leave skin feeling soothed and fresh. These are a great choice if you’ve never used an acid based product before but as I’ve been using Pixi Glow Tonic for a long time I didn’t get the same tingly feeling from using these.

If you have sensitive skin and have never used an acid exfoliating product before I would definitely give these a try but if your skin is well used to acid exfoliators I’d give these a miss. I had a trial size 30 pad tub of these but the regular 60 pad tub costs €30. You can buy the pads online at Feel Unique or Cloud 10 Beauty.

I’d say you would find these no problem they’re very gentle but I understand your fear! I’m afraid to try liquid gold or p50!

I haven’t tried these but the Nip + Fab ones have made a huge difference to my skin, I used to get a hormonal breakout every single month and haven’t had one spot since I started using them!

Great review. I was going to try these but my skin has been put through it’s paces with NeoStrata so I don;t think these would do much for me either.
