My Favourite Skincare Products of 2015!

Skincare picks 2015

I’ve been looking back over the year 2015 and I’ve been thinking about some of my beauty highlights. Over the next week or so I’ll bring you my favourites in bodycare, skincare and makeup. I was mostly skincare obsessed in 2015 so I’m going to start there. Here are my favourite products that were new to me in 2015.

Hylamide Sub-Q Anti-Age Serum - I just love a good serum! This serum is pretty unassuming and extremely watery and initially I didn’t have major expectations. But in a few weeks I could see the difference in my skins moisture levels and softening of some fine lines and my skins texture. I’ve been missing this and am going to repurchase very soon.

Clinique Moisture Surge Moisturiser - why hadn’t I tried this before! I got a Clinique Bonus Time gift that contained the moisture surge moisturiser. I have dry and dehydrated skin in winter but my problem is that heavier moisturisers tend to clog my pores. This moisturiser is perfect in that the gel texture weightlessly sinks into the skin and does a great job at moisturising. I just asked for this for Christmas as my sample size ran out, love it!

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm – 2015 was definitely the year of the cleanser for me, I must have bought at least 10 different ones! I think my top pick overall would have to be Emma Hardie. It smells amazing and does a great job of cleansing skin especially with the brilliant cloth that comes with it.

Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask – this was definitely the mask I reached for the most in 2015. It’s great in that you don’t have to wash it off and it leaves skin feeling really nourished. I’d lash it on just sitting around the house and my skin feels gorgeous the next day. I’ll definitely be replacing this one.

Nip Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme – I’m a huge Pixi Glow Tonic fan but it can be difficult to get your hands on. These pads do a very similar job at keeping skin clear and feeling perky. They’re easy to get in Boots and often are on offer so not too spendy either.

These are just some of my favourite skincare products of 2015, I don’t see my obsession with skincare slowing down any time soon. I’d really like to try some Sunday Riley and Tata Harper skincare in 2016, I just need to find an excuse to treat myself! Did you have any skincare you loved in 2015?
