People always laugh at my bathroom with the volume of products lying around. I don’t have the heart to tell them that it’s only scratching the surface and I have boxes of stuff dotted around the apartment! I probably need help! Following on from my favourite skincare products last week here are my top picks for bodycare and haircare products that were new to me in 2015.
Palmers Anti-Ageing Smoothing Body Lotion – I’m a big fan of Palmers in general and am a long time devotee of their daily tanning lotion. My skin tends to get a bit bumpy and flaky in winter and this lotion does a brilliant job of smoothing skin without any scrubbing involved. It’s also great value.
Rituals Foaming Shower Gel - shower gel is a bit boring. It’s something that’s hard to get hugely excited about but then I bought this winner from Rituals. It’s a foaming shower gel that smells amazing, turns from a clear gel to a creamy foam and is really kind to my dry skin. Total winner!
Rituals Ayurveda Body Scrub - another winner from Rituals. They seem to take great products and take them one step further. This is an exfoliator but also a kind of clay mask for your body. It does a great job of smoothing bumpy skin and leaves it feeling really soft.
Mio Liquid Yoga Bath Soak - This was a late entry for 2015 as I got this in my Marks and Spencer advent calendar. This bath soak is the most relaxing thing ever. It contains essential oils, mineral salt and herbs to help relax muscles and leave you feeling blissed out. I love this stuff and will definitely be buying the big bottle.
Bumble and Bumble Dryspun Finish - I spotted this product in a sale basket in Boots and am delighted I picked it up. I have really fine hair that lacks volume and this product does a great job of adding some lift and texture to my fine hair. It’s not cheap but I find a little bit goes a long way, I’ve had my bottle for months now.
L’Oreal Hot and Big Spray - This is another haircare winner from 2015. I spray this onto my hair before blow drying and it gives my hair such volume and bounce, it’s brilliant! This was a total winner among many bloggers so if you have find and limp hair I highly recommend giving this a try!
That’s just a quick selection of the body care products that impressed me the most in 2015. Do you have anything you’d add to the list?
