Dove Deeply Nourishing Bodywash

Dove Deeply Nourishing Body Wash

I was recently sent this Dove Deeply Nourishing body wash to review. I’ve used Dove deodorant for years, there’s something familiar about the Dove scent to me, it just feels really fresh. I have to admit I don’t put a huge amount of thought into the body wash I use. I usually get loads of that type of thing for Christmas – looking at you Soap and Glory – and I use them up throughout the year. But I was intrigued by the claims of this one so thought I’d give it a whirl.

This body wash promises to leave skin softer after just one shower. As somebody with dry skin I’m always interested in anything to make my skin softer. I really like the texture of this wash. It’s seriously creamy but works up into a creamy lather so it still gives that super clean feeling. There isn’t an overly strong smell from this it just has the slight Dove fresh kind of smell to it. My skin definitely feels softer after one shower. It not quite as soft as it would feel after moisturising but it’s still noticeable after one shower. This is also great for using as shaving gel in a pinch, it’s so creamy it works quite well.

This is definitely something I will continue to use. I just wish more body washes and such products came with a pump lid. It’s just so handy for items like this that you use every day. This is good value though as it costs €3.49 for 250ml making it a great wash for using daily and it’s on offer in Boots at the moment for half price, bargain! Have you tried this out?

**This product was sent to me for review but opinions are entirely my own**

I agree a pump lid is so much more helpful, I love that Soap & Glory’s body wash has one but that’s too pricey for me to splurge on at the rate we get through shower gels!
