Celtic Candles Review

celtic candles litOh it’s that time of year again when you snuggle up on the couch with the fire lit and some lovely candles burning. I don’t actually have a fire but I definitely do have candles! I’ve been a long time devotee of Yankee candles but I love to try out some home grown brands. I was at the Pro Beauty Show on Monday and came across the Celtic Candles stand. One sniff of the candles and I was hooked.

Celtic Candles is a family owned business based in Baldoyle. They  make all of their candles from a 100% organic wax blend mixed with some yummy scents and essential oils. I decided I’d treat myself to the relaxing candle to help me wind down in the evenings. The candle contains scents of Geranium, Lavender and Tea Tree to help you bliss out. It comes in a pretty jar with a cute wooden lid to go on top. I bought the large jar which promises to burn for 100 hours. I’ve been burning it for a few nights now and there isn’t much of a dent in the jar!

celtic candles What I really love about this candle is that it can be used as a treatment oil as well. I’ve been using the warm oil on my skin just before I go to bed to really help me get a good night’s sleep.  I got a bargain at the Pro Beauty Show as this cost me just €15 but  you can buy them online from www.celticcandles.ie for €19.99. They also do smaller jars and have a small range of body products. Not a bad choice for when the gift giving season lands upon us. I’d love to hear if you’ve tried these and what scents you’d recommend!
