Like many people I’m a big fan of British Beauty Blogger Jane Cunningham. She has a no fuss, straight talking blogging style that I really admire. Way back in July when I was still a complete blogging newby I spotted that BBB was releasing an limited beauty box with a selection of her favourite products at a bargain price. I snapped one up and you can read about the fabulousness of it here. So I got very excited when I saw Jane was releasing a Christmas beauty box, so I set my alarm early a few weeks ago to snap the new box at 7am. I received it yesterday, here it is….
Like the last box there is a lovely mix of skincare and makeup goodies! Opening it was like a mini Christmas day. I had deliberately not over researched what was in the box, I knew it would be good so I kind of just wanted it to be a surprise and a lovely surprise it was! There is very little in here that I’m not excited to try and I only own two of the products already and love them both.
Skincare wise there are some lovely goodies from L’Occitane including a cleanser, toner and handcream. There are two REN face mask samples, I love me a good face mask and am looking forward to trying these. There is a very generous full size La Roche Posay Redermic anti-aging cream with Retinol, as a big LRP fan I am excited to try this. From Vichy there is a generous Idealia sample, I already own and love this so I am excited to get more of it. Of course there is the fab Hydraluron, you can read my review of this here. There is also a Washi washcloth and a Mandara Spa bath milk and a sample of Roger and Gallet Huile Sublime.
Makeup wise the box is a treat as well. There is a full size Maybelline Rocket Volume mascara and Bourjois Kohl and Contour eyeliner. There is a fab full size Urban Decay eyeshadow in Zodiac, it’s this fab shimmery green, I promise I will swatch this. Then there is a lipgloss from a brand I’ve never heard of called Rouge Bunny Rouge, it’s a peachy colour lipgloss, sorry it would have helped if I took it out of the box!! Also last but not least are the CND nail polishes. I am dying to try this as the polish is supposed to last 7 days.
The box was such a bargain, it cost me just €36 including delivery, the contents are worth well over this! What do you think? Let me know if there is anything you’d really like to see reviewed and I’ll try that first.
p.s. Just a mention for the amazing candle which didn’t come with the box! I bought this at a craft fair recently by www.cloud9soapsandcandles.com. These are are handmade in Donore, Ireland by artisan candle maker Ave Brady using only premium quality natural ingredients. Makes a lovely Christmas gift, I can highly recommend!

I was just as thrilled as you to get my box,the products in it are amazing. Love the candle!
