British Beauty Blogger Beauty Boxes – My Picks!

BBB picks

Well if you spend a lot of time in beauty internet land like you me you have probably heard of British Beauty Blogger Jane Cunningham. Jane is a blogging pro and is always up to date with the latest beauty product on the block. Back in July 2013 BBB launched her first beauty box containing an edit of some of her favourite products. I pounced on the idea and ordered a box straight away. She has since released three more boxes, the most recent one went on sale on Monday and nearly broke the internet! I thought to celebrate the launch of the latest box I’d take a look back at some of my favourite products from the previous boxes.

British Beauty Blogger Edit Box

The original British Beauty Blogger Edit box is above. As with all the boxes there was a lovely selection of makeup and skincare products. I’m ashamed to say I still have one or two of these products in my stash unopened! My top pick of this box is the Lanolips Lip Ointment. The Lanolips balm is really moisturising and adds a lovely pinky nude colour to the lips. It’s a really great product to have in your pocket for winter – you can read my full review here. My second pick of this box is the Neom Handcream, it smells divine and is really moisturising, I flew threw the tube not long after getting the box. You can read my full review of the box here.

I really think Jane’s second box was my favourite so far it was bumper packed with quality products and unbelievably good value. Some of the skincare products were amazing including a full size La Roche Posay Redermic R cream. I think my favourite product in this box surprised me, it was the L’Occitane Angelica Cleansing Gel. The L’Occitane cleanser is really gentle but does a great job of removing makeup without irritating my sensitive skin. The matching toner is just as gentle. My second pick here had to be the REN Glycolactic Renewal Mask. This mask is a marvel, it dissolves all dead skin cells and brightens up my skin without causing any irritation, I love it! You can read my full review of this box here.

British Beauty Blogger Latest in Beauty Box

For her third box Jane joined forces with beauty heavyweight Latest In Beauty to get the box to us. Again it was bumper packed with some great skincare and makeup picks. I think my favourite product in this box is the Essie Romper Room nail polish. It’s like my dream opaque creamy pink for nails, I’ve used it so much since I got it. My second pick of this box would be the La Roche Posay Thermal Water spray. I know it’s just water in a spray can but I never realised how useful it is. I use it to cool my skin or spritz my makeup brushes, it’s so handy to have.

So there you have my picks of the boxes so far but the second Latest in Beauty collaboration box below is on its way to me now! How amazing does this look? This box nearly broke the internet on Monday so I am afraid it is sold out but I’ll introduce mine to you as soon as I get it. I’m very excited to try the Bourjois bronzer, Essie Polish and the Invisibobble!
