Hard to believe but this is the fourth week in the Best of Beauty Blog Challenge. The challenge has been organised by Sam over at All the Buzz and the lady has only gone and won herself Blogger of the Year at the Digital Media Awards. It’s very well deserved and if you haven’t followed her blog you really really should! Anyways this weeks topic is Pamper Products which I am always excited about.
I love me a bit of pampering, I often get laughed at for my friends and family for the amount of money I spend on my little beauty luxuries. I love a day at the spa and try to go at least twice a year, sure if you can’t treat yourself, who will! My favourite all time spa (so far) has to be ESPA at the Ritz Carlton Powerscourt, you can read about my trip here. I have always wanted to go to Monart though so I might try add that to my list this year.
When it comes to at home pampering my main addiction is facials and face masks. My bathroom isn’t the best for taking a bath in so when I’m having a pampering evening I tend to just take ages in the shower then have a DIY facial. I usually start with a good cleanser and then apply my mask of choice. Below are my top 4 favourite pampering face masks.
La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense Mask: This mask is a great solution for adding moisture to winter parched skin. It’s really gentle and suits my sensitive skin. A great winter weather skin fix. This costs €16.50.
Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Mask: This is an oldie but a goodie! It’s a really nourishing mask that helps perk up tired and dull skin. Your skin will feel super smooth and look much perkier after using this. This costs about €38 but it will last ages.
Sanctuary 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask: I turn to this mask when my skin is breaking out and clogged. It’s great for removing areas of congestion and helping to clear up skin. I also love masks that warm on the skin it feels like a real treat. You can pick this up from boots for €13.
Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel: This is probably my all time favourite. You’ve probably heard me mention it a billion times. It’s great for gentle exfoliating and brightening skin. It also manages to calm the redness in my skin. A total winner in my book and worth every penny of the €38 it costs.
So there you have it, some of my favourite pamper products! Do you have a favourite face mask?
