You’ll probably laugh at this post! While everyone is busy decking the halls and wrapping the presents, today I am boarding a plane to head to India for Christmas! I just felt like doing something different this year so me and friend Debs are jetting off for the Christmas season. It also means I get to tick another thing off my bucket list! I’ll be back before new years though as I plan on getting some last minute Christmas buzz in and my family are saving my Christmas presents till then, yay. I also just wanted to show you what I’m bringing with me make-up and skincare wise, if you fancy a bit of a nosy!
Makeup wise I’m not bringing a huge amount. I know I probably wont wear too much while I’m away and also I’ll be lugging my rucksack around so I have to keep my cosmetics to a minimum. I’m bringing two foundations, me beloved Catrice BB Cream which has a handy SPF30 and my sturdy Revlon Colorstay if I fancy a bit more coverage. I’m bringing my touche eclat and I have a concealer in my benefit eye palette. I’m bringing two Benefit tints, Cha Cha and Posie Tint as I do like my blushers.
I’m also bringing my Sleek Oh So Special Palette because I like the shadows but also the palette has a handy big mirror. I have my urban decay eye pencil as well. I’ve just realised I’m missing my mascara! I will also bring my Max Factor False Lash Effect. Brush wise I am bringing the amazing travel set from Royal and Langknickle which really has everything you could possibly need in a compact little set, it’s lovely isn’t it? All this makeup booty fits neatly into my black sparkly makeup case from Penneys.
Skincare wise I am of course bringing SPF50 face cream from No7. I normally use a Vichy one but I’m going to give this one a try. I’m also bringing a micellar cleanser from B the Superdrug skincare range – its in the travel bottle below.. I’m also bringing a travel size Hydraluron as well as small samples of REN day, night and eye creams. I also have a small travel sized Burts Bees face scrub just in case my skin needs a good cleanse.
Body wise I’m bringing a La Roche Posay SPF50 sun protection oil. It’s not even worth my time trying to get a tan, I will be forever pasty. I’m also bringing my Nivea in shower moisturiser and Palmers Bronzing Body lotion just so I don’t feel too pasty when we get to the beach. I’ve been very reserved with my cosmetics, quite proud of myself!
So I just wanted to let you know I’ll be away for a few weeks but I have left a few scheduled posts just in case you fancy a bit of reading over the Christmas. So if you’re wondering why I’ve gone quiet, this is why! I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and that 2014 brings you everything you hope for xxx
