A Beauty Blogger Recommends!

I was tagged by the lovely AJ over at AJ Makeup to do this tag post. This is where I share the beauty products that I recommend the most. I’ve had a good think about all of the products that I can’t run out of and would be lost without. It’s taken me a bit of time but I have whittled it down to the six products I recommend the most.

La Roche Posay SerozincLa Roche Posay Serozinc (€8) – If you haven’t heard of this wonder spray it’s a real skincare saviour. It’s a zinc sulphate solution that is used for soothing and cleansing skin. It’s really great at calming red and irritated skin. I have a bit of rosacea and I find this works wonders for it. It’s also supposed to be great for oily or acne prone skin. I use it like a toner stage in my skincare routine. You can only get this in France at the moment but I think but it’s launching shortly on escentual.com yay!

Makeup Revolution Flawless Palette

Makeup Revolution Flawless Palette (€10) – I regularly recommend Makeup Revolution products, there aren’t many that do wrong in my eyes. Of all the palettes I’ve tried my favourite so far is the Flawless palette and I think it’s one of the bestsellers on the site. It contains a mix of 32 neutral eyeshadows with a mix of finishes and there are a few unusual shades thrown in for good measure. The shadows have a strong pigment and last really well for such a tiny tiny price!

Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel

Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel (€38) – If anybody asks me about a good face mask this is always the one that springs to mind. I think a lot of people are put off when they see the word peel used but fruit enzyme peels are a really good way to exfoliate skin without having to scrub it. This mask does a great job of exfoliating skin while also calming and soothing any redness. I realise it’s not that cheap but your skin is really worth investing in. Plus I always keep an eye out for Elemis Christmas sets in the January sales!

Revlon Colourstay Foundation

Revlon Colourstay Foundation (€18) – I am always recommending this foundation. This is the foundation I wear during the working week, I usually switch to something lighter for the weekend. It’s medium to full coverage and there is a version for dry and combination skin. For me it has the right level of cover, doesn’t dry out skin and gets me through a day at work. It also helps that it’s a mid-range price, so it’s not too expensive as I get through a lot of them.

Nuxe Reve de Miel

Nuxe Reve Du Miel Lip Balm (€12) – My lips are really suffering with the winter cold at the moment and this is always the first thing I reach for. I always recommend this when anyone complains of dry lips. It’s a really thick nourishing formula that quickly turns around chapped lips.

collectionCollection Lasting Perfection Concealer (€5.50) – This concealer is the bees knees. I definitely recommend this one the most. This gives great coverage and lasts ages, it really beats many higher end concealers. This is one that I will always have in my kit and I often have two on the go at the same time.

So these would be just some of the products I regularly recommend! I’m sure I’ll think of a million more now that I’m done. What is the one product you recommend the most?
