This is just a quick post to let you know that I’m taking a four week blogging break as tomorrow I’m off on the trip of a lifetime to Peru with my sister! I’m so excited to visit South America and I haven’t seen my sister for four months! I’ve been mad busy packing this week and getting sorted.
I was going to schedule a few posts for when I’m away but I decided I’m going to use the trip to totally switch off and take an extended break from the t’interwebs, so I won’t be checking in on the blog. I think a break will be really good but I’ll be back soon, full of beans, working on re-designing the blog and plenty of new posts!
Anyway just wanted to let you know in case you check in while I’m away and wonder why so quiet. Thanks as always for reading
I was sent an invitation to trial this tan recently and I was a little bit nervous as all the descriptions of the tan make it sound quite dark. I told the MineTan peeps that I am super pale so if they could send me the lightest they have. I was sent this Exotic European Violet 1 Hour Tan Mousse to try out.
Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover for Lids, Lashes and Lips
I had a heavy weekend last weekend with one of my close friends wedding so there was plenty of makeup that needed removing. Day to day I rarely wear very heavy eye makeup. I have naturally black lashes and watery eyes so I usually only wear mascara for nights out. But for an event like a wedding I will go all out. So I definitely needed a more heavy duty eye makeup remover.
Turns out empties are like buses you have none for ages and then about 50 come along at once. I only wrote an empties post a few weeks ago here but suddenly I have another box of empties. I suppose like most people I fly through skincare much more quickly than makeup so my skincare stash is quickly running out. Let’s take a look at my latest beauty buys heading for the bin.
Ah I know everybody has seen these a million times by now but I just wanted to share my thoughts. I had been trying to get to a NYX counter for ages as there wasn’t one near where I work or live but lately they’re being stocked in a few more places. They’re now in the Hickeys pharmacy on O’Connell Street which is really handy for me. And by the looks of things the counters are pretty popular because most I saw were out of or low on some products.
