I’m having great fun trying out all of the products I got in my recent France haul here. I’ve never tried Kiko before so was excited to give their products a whirl. I expected to like the Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow as they come so highly recommended by beauty bloggers but I am actually wowed by the Water Eyeshadow!
Well colour me Kiko at the moment. I am all over the Kiko products since my little France haul. I couldn’t get over how cheap some of the Kiko goodies are, the skincare in particular is great value with most items hovering around the €10 mark. I love anything with peel in the name as it usually means it’s a safe way for me to exfoliate my skin without scrubbing it. So when I spied the Kiko Anti-Age Peeling Gel for just under €7 I knew it had my name written all over it.
If you’re into your skincare you will probably have heard of La Roche Posay Serozinc. I recently carted four cans of Serozinc home from France as you can’t buy it in Ireland. When I got back from France I found out that La Roche Posay have clearly listened to the cries of us Irish beauty bloggers and are launching Serozinc in Ireland on the 1st of April, whoop!
If you haven’t heard of it before it’s a zinc sulphate solution in a spray can which I use as a toner. You can read my full review of Serozinc here but it’s basically designed as a cleansing and soothing solution for oily and blemish prone skin. I don’t have oily skin but I find it a great help for my red rosacea prone skin. I use it just after cleansing morning and evening and it helps to calm my skin before I apply my serum and moisturiser.
So it’s great that I’ll now be able to get this essential in my local pharmacy! Serozinc will cost €10 for a 150ml can when it launches here on the 1st of April. So if you have oily or easily irritated skin I’d definitely give this a try.
Ooooh now this is different. If you’re a regular Beauty Angel reader you may notice that I don’t often blog about hair products. I’m a bit meh about them if I’m honest, I have a little range of products that I like and I pretty much use all the time. But on the other hand I do love an oul bargain and a few weeks ago I was in Boots in St Stephens Green shopping centre and they had one of those lovely discount crates around. I spied Bumble and Bumble out of the corner of my eye and had to take a look. They had a big selection of Bumble and Bumble products at massively discounted prices so I bought a good few.
Well I just returned from a weekend in Disneyland Paris (big child that I am) and it would have been downright rude for me not to buy some beauty bits while I was there. Val D’Europe is a big shopping centre beside Disney that has some lovely shops including a great French Pharmacie, Sephora and Kiko. I spent a good two hours perusing the stores so of course I had to share my haul.
Well it’s no secret that I’m a fan of a lip crayon. I own about fifty billion, I must write a post about my collection sometime. But of course my massive collection doesn’t stop me buying new ones. I was wandering by a Revlon counter and they had some lip and nail products at half price so I had to try one of the Colorburst matte balms.
If you’re a beauty fanatic like me you usually have a mental list of products you want to try. The Buff Makeup Sheer Glo has been on my mental wishlist for months now since I swatched it at their blogger evening last summer. So I added it to my Christmas list which usually exclusively consists of beauty products and Santa was kind enough to deliver.
In case you hadn’t noticed by the volume of Skincare posts I’m writing lately my skin is having a rough time. The cold weather and air con is making my skin dry and easily irritated. I have a fair irish cailin complexion that is very prone to redness so anything that promises to tackle said redness is right up my street.
