My poor skin is having a woeful time at the moment. Sitting in an air conditioned heated office in the middle of winter is ruining my skin it’s so dry and itchy, I can’t seem to keep the moisture in it. I’m bringing out my skincare big guns to try and tackle the problem.
Ha ha this is a bit of a funny one, I never thought I’d be reviewing a bobbin (bobble, hair tie – whatever you call it!) on the blog. But this is one of those products you never knew you wanted until you got one. I got this in my last British Beauty Blogger box here and at first I didn’t really know what it was!
Before Christmas a friend asked me to be Santa for her two daughters who had asked for beauty products for Christmas. Beauty shopping is my friends idea of a worst nightmare but for me would actually be my dream job, a personal beauty shopper! The girls were looking for some good BB creams so I decided to order them some of my favourite Skin 79 BB creams from Korean online shop eopenmarket and of course while I was at it I had to order something for myself, it’d be rude not to eh?!
I very easily get stuck in a makeup rut, I sometimes find myself being drawn to the same brands and products just out of habit. I’m determined to try some new looks this year and want to broaden my makeup horizons. I’ve picked some brands that I really want to try out below, some seasoned makeup pros might gasp that I’ve never tried some of these!
Well it’s probably no secret that I’m a big fan of the Revlon Colorstay foundation. It’s the only foundation I’ve tried so far that has the exact colour, consistency and coverage I’m looking for. It’s quite high coverage but doesn’t feel to heavy on my skin it also gets me through a full day at the office which is what I look for in a foundation. So when I needed a new heavy duty concealer I knew I’d have to give the Colorstay version a whirl.
I think I must be mistaken as I do believe this is my first review of a Body Shop product on my blog! I can’t really believe it as I do love their products (body butters in particular) but somehow they haven’t landed here until now. I received The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Beautifying Oil in the last British Beauty Blogger Dream Box 2 here. Here’s how I got on with it…
I’ve been doing a bit of a look back at my year in blogging so I thought I would pick out some of my favourite products from 2014. In this post I’m looking at the skincare products that really impressed me, not all of them are new products but they were all new to me in 2014. Here we go!
Well it’s probably no surprise that my Christmas wishlist is usually entirely filled with beauty products. My lovely family always come up trumps with some really amazing gifts. I’m also so greedy that I couldn’t help but pick up a few bits in the sales as well. Anyway I thought I would give you a peek at the new beauty bits I have in my stash.
Well Happy New Year everyone, I hope you had a really great Christmas and that 2015 brings everything you hope for! I’m back from my little blogging break with lots of ideas for posts for 2015. First I’m going to take a look back at my blogging year by sharing my Top 5 most read posts in 2014, just in case you missed them!
