Hard to believe but this is the fourth week in the Best of Beauty Blog Challenge. The challenge has been organised by Sam over at All the Buzz and the lady has only gone and won herself Blogger of the Year at the Digital Media Awards. It’s very well deserved and if you haven’t followed her blog you really really should! Anyways this weeks topic is Pamper Products which I am always excited about.
I haven’t bought anything from Lush in years. I’m not really sure why as I used to be a big fan. I just seemed to drop off my radar a little bit. At Christmas a lot of bloggers were writing about a limited edition lip scrub from Lush and ever since then I’ve had a Lush lip scrub on my wishlist.
This is my third post in the Best of Beauty Blog Challenge being hosted by Samantha over at All the Buzz. This week’s topic is Makeup Must Haves you can see my other posts here! I’m sure like most beauty bloggers my makeup must haves change on a weekly basis, I’m so fickle! That’s the real problem with having a beauty product addiction. Anyway I’ve had a good rummage through my makeup bag and I’m showing you the five items I use most regularly at the moment.
Did you ever own something for ages and not fully appreciate what it does? This product falls into that category for me. I think I have this for a few months now but maybe only used it a handful of times. But then my skin started having a mini meltdown and this product really came to the rescue.
I love me a bitta Models Own, I have a small but blossoming collection of their polishes. They’re a great go to for a wide variety of nail colours and finishes. They recently celebrated getting 250,000 likes on their Facebook page by having a half-price sale on all polishes. I of course jumped on the bandwagon early in the morning when the sale launched. The site crashed a few times with the demand but I needn’t have fretted as there was a lot of stock.
I don’t normally do empties post as I feel like I’m just showing you my rubbish! But this month I seem to have run out of everything I own at the exact same time, so I thought I would share. I’m really hoping to get some Boots coupons soon so I can do a proper stock up and max out my advantage card points, I’m already doing my beauty maths, ha ha! Here is a selection of the stuff I’ve run out of…
Although the weather might not agree it’s technically springtime and as always the pastel colours tend to make a return for spring. I’m not big on pastel clothes, they tend to wash me out but I’m happy to wear any colour on my nails. I spied this lovely baby blue on the NYC counter and sure for €1.89, where would you be going! This is lasting really well for such a cheap polish it’s been two days and only one minor chip. I also bought a minty green pastel which I’m looking forward to trying. If pastels are your thing there are some lovely ones in the range so check them out!
This post is my first in the Best of Beauty Blog Challenge! The lovely Samantha over at All The Buzz came up with the challenge as a way to keep the blogging mojo going and also as a chance for us beauty bloggers to discover new blogs. I have been a bit slow with my posts of late so this challenge is really helping me to focus. Thanks Sam!
