Everyone loves a bargain and I have to say you can get lots of great quality products for under a tenner these days. I had a good long think about it and below is the countdown of my Top 10 products under €10…
I got so caught up in the September Beauty Blog Challenge that I keep forgetting about my Nail of the Week posts, it’s been a few weeks. So I’m being bold and skipping the SBBC topics today for a NOTW post! Hard to believe it’s the middle of September, but the good thing about a new season is new nail colours. I’ve been storing up some nice dark shades that I can dig out for autumn/winter. This wine coloured lovely from No7 called Damson Dream, it has a lovely pearly finish to it with a great shine. The No7 nail polishes cost €8 but are on offer at the moment, buy one get one half price, whats not to love?!
Now I’m sure if I’m trapped on a desert island my makeup may be the last of my worries. But for the craic let’s assume I’m stuck on a desert island with an all inclusive resort say, but I can only have 10 pieces of makeup, what would they be? Well find out here…
This is the lifestyle topic for today’s September Beauty Blog Challenge! I’ve been sick for a few days so I had to use a photo from last week, sorry! Back in June I bought a DSLR camera, a Nikon D3200. As soon as I bought it I realised I didn’t have a bean how to use it and decided I better learn to get the most out of it.
I love discovering new products and brands and I find it even more exciting when they’re Irish, as I know they can’t have been made too far away! Bia Beauty is a gorgeous Irish skin and bodycare brand, the brainchild of Tracey in Cork. She studied Herbal Science and her development of natural beauty products was born from this. All the products she makes are totally natural and made in Cork.
This is the lifestyle topic for today as part of the September Beauty Blog Challenge. When I saw the topic I knew straight away what mine would be. The post I am proudest of is my very first post. The post itself isn’t amazing. It is a review of the Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel, a product I love and really believe in. The photo is awful and the post isn’t my best writing but I’m just so proud and happy that I took that first leap into blogging.
DIY Beauty is one of today’s topics for the September Beauty Blog Challenge. I love to try out natural beauty as sometimes I really wonder what it is that I’m putting on my skin. I had been hearing all about coconut oil for a while as a great all multitasker, so I decided to pick up a jar and see what all the fuss was about.
The topic for today’s September Beauty Blog Challenge is to compare two or more similar items. I’m a big believer in a bit of blusher doing wonders for the face. I used to be afraid of blusher as I naturally have quite high colour on my cheeks. But now I know how to cover that up and put a cute blusher over it. It really makes a difference to your makeup.
So I’m sure like many of you I often shower in a hurry but even if I’m in a mad rush I can’t bear to not moisturise my skin. I can count on my hands the number of times I’ve just showered and gotten dressed without moisturising. My skin just doesn’t feel right if I don’t moisturise after showering. But it can be a bit of a pain, especially when you have to get dressed straight away. The worst is the gym when I have to try and get tights on after moisturising, there’s a lot of jumping around involved then!
So there have been a few nifty innovations of late in the area of speedy moisturising! Anything that makes moisturising quicker and easier in my book is a good thing so I thought I’d give you a quick run through of the latest products:
