Illamasqua Blusher Tremble – Love!
I was really excited to receive my first ever Illamasqua order. It’s a brand I’ve been meaning to try for so long as it gets such rave reviews from bloggers and make-up artists. I’m also obsessed with the images they share on their Facebook page, some of the looks are amazeballs, really artistic and inspiring.
A while back they had a 50% off offer on their site to celebrate reaching a milestone on Twitter. So I grabbed the opportunity to buy a blusher, eye palette and nail polish. The Illamasqua website is so easy to use. They have great swatches and videos to show you the colour so you won’t get a horrible shock when your post arrives. The blusher I ordered was this lovely called Tremble.
Lacura Concealer Pen
Now I’m not sure that this product will be breaking news for everyone but it’s one of those products that I’ve been meaning to pick up forever. It’s a concealer pen by Aldis beauty brand Lacura. I couldn’t resist as I was picking up some not so glamorous cotton wool beside it. For €4.99 it wasn’t going to bust the shopping budget.
It’s actually quite fancy looking for a supermarket brand. It comes in a sleek black pen, similar to the Yves Saint Laurent brush pen, although no metal feel here, it’s plastic! It has the same click bottom system as Touche Eclat and you have to click it a few times to get the concealer moving.
This weeks Nail of the Week (NOTW for short – how cool am I?!) is an oldie but a goodie. I was heading out at the weekend and I was wearing a black maxi with gold accessories. I had a rummage through the nail collection and I came across this lovely from Models Own. I applied it and remembered why I liked it so much! Its a lovely creamy gold with an almost textured feel when on. It’s called Champagne and that’s exactly what it looks like. What do you think?

Scrub Your Nose In It!
I’m not gonna lie but I’m usually quite lucky with my skin. I don’t get spots very often but when my skin has a fit it does it big style! I was sick recently and my skin decided to join the pity party. I started to break out and my chin and nose looked really congested.
I had a rummage through my beauty stash to see if I could find any inspiration and I came across this product. It’s Scrub Your Nose In It by brilliant brand Soap & Glory. It’s quite a cool product as it’s a scrub and mask combo. You can just use it as an exfoliator or leave a thin layer of it on for three minutes as a mask.
SensatioNail Starter Kit Pink Chiffon
My lovely roomie picked up this SensatioNail Starter Kit for me in New York as it’s quite a bargain over there. It cost just €50 in the states compared to €85 euro here. I finally found some time to review it although doing it with a hangover may not have been the best plan I’ve ever had!
The kit contains a pretty nifty LED lamp with plug, a gel primer, base / top coat, colour polish and gel cleanser. There’s also some lint free wipes, a cuticle stick and nail file. I chose the Pink Chiffon starter kit, it’s a lovely light creamy pink.
